My dear Brother Rumi once said “What you seek is seeking you?

Then why do we struggle to get what we seek?

Maybe we are seeking for the wrong things

This world is full of trickery and deception

Many distractions that hold you from the truth

Making us feel as though our value is placed upon the things bestowed upon us by the system

Placing value on a piece of paper they call currency

Has it ever occurred to you that money was created to give us the illusion that there is something out there more powerful than God?

That this paper holds more weight than faith

This paper

This man-made paper puts a value on our heads

The red numbers on your social security card place a monetary vallue on the stock exchange for your life

Another piece of paper that validates your residency and dictates where you can live

We live in a world built on the foundation of validation and social hierarchy

Designed to pin one against another

Division

Male/female

Democrat/Republican

Good/Bad

Wrong/Right

There is always a consequence for division

“United we stand” is our country's motto

Yet who actually lives by these words

Wisdom without integration is a heresy

The greatest sin known to man

Advice is for the devil I was once told

I now understand what that means

Compassion is taught through experience

Experience teaches us wisdom

Wisdom is understanding nothing

But Knowing everything

What you chase chases you

What you run from

Runs with you

What you seek, seeks you

It isn’t until you stop seeking

Stop running

Stop chasing

That everything you desire to find

Finds you

Stop being a seeker

And allow your abundance to come to you

Be always hungry

But not for food

But for spiritual fulfillment that will provide you everlasting nurishment

Be always thirsty

But not for water

But for the wave of unconditional love that your Creator crashes over you

Be the way

The example for those with eyes can see and ears can hear

There is always someone looking up to you

What do they say in front of your face and behind your back

Be the one seekers come to when they feel spiritually inept

Stand strong

Be the totem that everyone can rely on

For then you will realize

Everything you sought

Sought you
